Artist Statement
My talented artist friend, Kat Ostrow (@katost) posted some stunning images of sand and ocean landscapes from her trip to Cannon Beach. The images instantly struck a chord with me and I asked Kat for her permission to try my hand at capturing the feel and essence of the textural sand and reflective water through my watercolor brush. Here is the first in a series of abstracted paintings, inspired by Kat's beloved beach.
